I began playing football in seventh grade as a starting long snapper and center, primarily because no one else wanted the position. I became a decent snapper. My coaches and parents encouraged me to pursue snapping in high school and college, now my dream is to play in the NFL.
My biggest accomplishment to date was earning a starting long snapping position as a true freshman at the University of Texas Permian Basin. Prior to college, I was a starting long snapper as sophomore on varsity as well as throughout my highschool career. We had a great season and were district champs in 2018. My junior and senior year I started at the center position as well as long snapping. We made the playoffs again in 2020 during all the unusual COVID requirements. We had a great season and made it through a couple of rounds. Between seasons, I have attended several Chris Rubio Long Snapping camps, which have helped improved my technique, accuracy and speed. As a result of great instruction and hard work, I received an invite to their Underclassman Invitation camp in California my junior year and the Senior Invitation camp in 2020 to compete against the nation’s top snappers.
My aspiration is to play in the NFL. I get along well with other players, I am coachable and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed at the next level. I am dedicated to my craft, working daily to improve my strength and technique. I enjoy working out in the gym, watching films and going to camps to improve my technique and skill level. Most important to me, I love this game and will do what it takes to continue playing at the next level. I look forward to the next chapter and will continue to work hard to perfect my skills at long snapping. I want to thank my family, all my coaches at UTPB, Jersey Village High School and a special thanks to Chris Rubio at Rubio Long Snapping. I would not be where I am today without Rubio Long Snapping!
Go Falcons!
